6. STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

In order to order brochures or to respond to enquiries or to be included in our press distribution list, it is necessary for you to provide us with the personal details requested on the website. BERDING BETON GmbH stores this data in order to be able to process your enquiry. BERDING BETON GmbH will use this data confidentially and will only make it available to third parties to the extent that this is absolutely necessary for the implementation of the aforementioned purposes.

Even if you have not provided us with any personal data, our internet service provider collects data in so-called log files during your visit. We receive the name of your internet service provider, your IP address, the internet page from which you came to our website, the internet pages you visit on our website and the date, time and duration of your visit. This data is used exclusively for statistical purposes. We do not establish a personal reference.

We use cookies to store data on your computer during your visit to our website. This allows you to surf through our pages more comfortably. If you do not want this, you can protect yourself from this by making the appropriate settings in your Internet browser.

In accordance with the applicable data protection law, we will be happy to inform you on request whether and which personal data we have stored about you. Please contact our data protection officer directly.

7. NEWSLETTER

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter.

We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to ensure that the newsletter is sent with your consent. In the course of this, the potential recipient allows himself/herself to be added to a distribution list. Subsequently, the user is given the opportunity to confirm the registration in a legally secure manner by means of a confirmation e-mail. Only if the confirmation is received will the address be actively included in the distribution list.

We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and offers.

Newsletter2Go is used as the newsletter software. Your data will be transmitted to Newsletter2Go GmbH. 8. APPLICATIONS

Furthermore, you can also apply for a job with us via our website. This data will be processed and evaluated by us for this purpose. After the end of the application process, your data will be deleted or, if you are hired, transferred to your personnel file.

9. LINKS TO OTHER COMPANIES

We use links to other companies on our website. When you click on these, you leave our website and are then on the website of the other companies. You can find the conditions for this in the data protection declarations of the companies clicked on. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of data.

10. USE OF BUTTONS WITH LINKS TO SOCIAL NETWORKS

On our website, we use buttons with links to our appearances on Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Xing. These buttons do not transmit any data to the aforementioned social networks. Only when you click on the buttons will you leave our website and be redirected to our websites on the social networks you have clicked on. You are then no longer on our website, but on the websites of the clicked social networks. Depending on your settings in your browser or in the social network, personal data about you will be collected there. The conditions for this can be found in the data protection declarations of the social networks clicked on, for which we cannot accept any responsibility.

We have refrained from using Facebook “Like” buttons on our website, as these would already collect data about you if you have not yet clicked on these buttons. If you would like to express your liking for us using this technique, we would be happy to do so. To do so, simply click on our button with the link to Facebook. You will then find a “Like me” button on our Facebook fan page.

We refrain from integrating social media scripts for data protection reasons, as the social services use tracking methods in the background. Of course, we are happy if you like our posts on our blog and want to share them on social media. For this purpose, we have included share buttons for Twitter, Facebook and Google+ after the posts. When you click on the buttons, you will receive a notice that the social media will load analysis scripts in the background to record user behaviour. Only if you agree to this will the corresponding scripts be uploaded and the amount shared.

11. APPEARANCES ON SOCIAL NETWORKS

In the social networks we are represented on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

You can enter personal data in our appearances on the social networks. This data will only be processed if this is necessary for editing or commenting on your contribution.

When you visit our presences in the social networks, you are not on our Internet pages, but on the Internet pages of the respective social networks.

There, depending on your settings in your browser or in the social network, personal data will be collected about you. You can find the conditions for this in the data protection declarations of the respective social networks, over which we have no influence and for which we cannot assume any responsibility.
